MK - bedlinen automats
MK indexer for bedlinen with buttonhole machines for white goods
The sewing automat semi-automatically sews buttonholes in duvet covers and padded throws.
With this freely adjustable indexer up to 16 buttonholes can be sewn into a single facing.
And in keeping with MK philosophy, a sewing automat with a buttonholing machine and a fast, programmable indexer is more economical than an automatic unit with several buttonholing machines working concurrently.
This is because the unit is more available and more efficient.
With automated units which incorporate several machines, all of the machines come to a standstill when a thread breaks or the lower thread bobbin is being replaced. And if the machine has to be changed over to accommodate new buttonhole intervals, for instance, the position of the buttonholing machines have to be changed too. This results in additional downtime.
The MK indexer works with a single buttonholing machine. Up to 999 programs can be saved. Changing the buttonhole length or number takes 10 seconds.

  • The end of the binding is folded over,
  • The binding position is symmetrical over the corner,
  • Clamped into place,
  • Fed into the bartacker,
  • The angle bar sewn and
  • The finished angle ejected.
